CONCEPT: Shady characters live among us everywhere- sometimes they make the evening news when their evil deeds are exposed by someone who is tired of seeing these people laugh at the rest of us while they continue to get away with their shenanigans year and and year out- because they think they are too smart to get caught. Often, a shady character is a hypocrite who lives one way while preaching to the rest of us to live another. Politicians are often 'shady characters' for this reason- they pass laws for the rest of us to follow, laws which they believe do not apply to themselves. They get elected over and over again- not by telling the truth- but by promising something to everyone- knowing full well that once elected, they can renege on their promises by blaming the other political party for their failure to keep their promises.
Other shady characters come to us claiming to do God's work. These characters too have a major flaw in their internal construction which makes them believe they have been granted immunity from God Himself as long as they piously invoke God's name and point out their own good deeds. Unfortunately, no religion or faith is spared from these individuals- those who demand blind obedience from the rest of us while they indulge themselves in any and all carnal desires they may have.
These are not "nice" people- and surely the things they say may upset those whose livings depend upon withholding knowledge of the existence of these types of people from the public. Some may insist that these characters are in bad taste, but it is my contention that what is in bad taste is the protection at all costs of these kinds of people to prevent scandal from rearing its ugly head and drying up the income of a political party or a religious institution from disillusioned members.
